My Christmas mailing is the one last thing hanging over my head that needs doing. By yesterday afternoon, I had all of the Christmas cards, packages, and even Thank You notes for my students ready to go in the mail (I know, right? Crazy organized.). Too bad the post office had closed for the day. Fortunately, I'm too relaxed to worry about it. And I'm still way ahead of my usual week-before-Christmas self.Chad's out of town, but the kids and I have been soaking up the loveliness of that very-beginning-of-vacation feel. Lots of reading, card-making, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer watching, and just general lounging.
I have some books that need reading, too, but I'm just too darn busy staring at the tree and feeling calm.
