It's been three years since we visited Mt. Diablo. Way too long, I suppose. It was really beautiful
the last time we went up there, and today would have been every bit as lovely if we had gone earlier in the day. Unfortunately, I had to spend a few hours at work first. And then we really weren't dressed warmly enough to be up at 5,000 feet in the late afternoon. Dummies. So we basically froze our butts off up at the top for a few minutes, spent as long as we could inside the Visitor Center, froze for a few more minutes, and then left. But, you know what? It was awesome anyway. The views didn't disappoint, and it was so, so nice to get out of dodge for a couple of hours.
And I got to play with my camera some more.... :)
