Happy Father's Day

I tried to pick one perfect Chad-and-the-kids photo for Father's Day, but I just couldn't bring myself to whittle it down to only one. So I whittled it down to 27. Twenty-seven moments in the life of one amazing dad.

Now that you have seen these 27 moments, you can begin to imagine how much we love Chad. There is nothing this man can't do. He runs, he swims, he rides, he flies. He is a whiz with the dishwasher, and he can mow the lawn in a flash. He reads stories with flair, keeps all of the plants alive, cooks a mean zucchini saute, and never forgets to put out the recycling. He puts the seat down, changes the toilet paper roll, and hangs up wet towels. He pays the bills on time, sorts through the junk mail, and makes sure the cats are fed, watered, and loved. He invents crazy songs just to make us laugh, tells funny stories, and appreciates small moments. He builds things, fixes things, and keeps an eye out for things that might need to be built or fixed. He cleans up cat vomit, kid vomit, and other gross stuff. He runs errand after errand, schleps kids, and somehow turns each outing into an adventure. He pours cereal, packs lunches, and buys all of that food in the first place. He checks the chlorine level, plays trains, trims the trees, and plants flowers. He knows how to make toothbrushing fun. He is kind, thoughtful, wacky, energetic, patient, dedicated, and generous. We all love to spend time with Chad, because he makes life more fun. And yes, he does windows.
